Electronic Identification Portal (eID Portal) is a unique place for identification and authentication, i.e. registration and sign-in of eGovernment users.

Users can register accounts electronically, with a username and password or a qualified electronic certificate, or by visiting registration authority counter

Users have three sign-in methods available - signing in with a username and password, a mobile application or a qualified electronic certificate.

ConsentID mobile application and qualified electronic certificates as highly reliable means of electronic identification provide their users with access to all services and functionalities of eGovernment.

There are three sign-in methods:

1. sign-in with the ConsentID mobile application (high level of reliability);

2. sign-in with a qualified electronic certificate (high level of reliability);

3. sign-in with a username and password (basic level of reliability).

Qualified electronic certificate (QES) in the cloud provides the user with electronic identification of a high level of reliability and allows the user to use their qualified electronic signature remotely. In this way, the user is not tied to a computer and can perform signing at a time and place that suits them. QES in the cloud enables a simpler and more convenient use of an electronic signature, since it does not require the user to have a smart card reader nor to install additional software.

In order to successfully use their qualified electronic signature in the cloud, the user must install the ConsentID mobile application and use it to approve the qualified electronic signature remotely.

Issuance of a qualified electronic certificate by ITE CA is free of charge. The validity period of the qualified electronic certificate in the cloud is 5 years.

- Basic level of reliability -

Signing in with a username and password implies that the email address with which the account was registered and the password are used for signing in. This sign-in method provides limited trust in the user's identity and is indicated as a basic reliability level sign-in. A limited number of electronic services are available to the user who signs in this way.

- High level of reliability -

Signing in with a qualified electronic certificate provides a high level of trust in the user's identity and is indicated as a high reliability level sign-in. All services are available to users who register in this way. They can independently set a password and thus enable themselves to sign in with a username and password, issue themselves activation codes for the activation of the ConsentID mobile application, as well as issue themselves a qualified electronic certificate in the cloud and electronically sign documents.

IMPORTANT:

To use a qualified electronic certificate, you must have the software of the certification authority that issued you the certificate installed on your computer.

The software is available on the website of the certification authority.

Cloud signature is a service that allows you to electronically sign documents with a qualified electronic certificate in the cloud.

A user who has a qualified electronic certificate in the cloud is enabled to:

• adds the document they want to sign with a qualified electronic certificate in the cloud,
• reviews the attached documents,
• select a document to sign,
• initiates signing,
• positions the graphic display of the electronic signature and
• signs the document.

Electronic Identification Portal is the central place for registration of eCitizen accounts and their sign-in to related eGovernment systems (eGovernment Portal, Local Tax Administration Portal, eHealth, My First Salary, eGradeBook, etc.)

You can register in two basic ways: electronically, on https://eid.gov.rs/, or at one of the registration authorities' counters.

Electronic registration is done by choosing one of the following options:

• registration via username and password as a citizen of the Republic of Serbia,
• registration with username and password for foreign nationals,
• registration using qualified electronic certificates

eCitizen is any person who has a user account on the EID Portal. Any citizen of the Republic of Serbia who has a valid biometric document (ID card or passport) and is over 16 years of age can become an eCitizen, as well as foreign nationals with or without regulated residence in the Republic of Serbia.

eCitizens most often use the following electronic services: registering a child for kindergarten enrollment, scheduling an appointment for the issuance of an ID card and passport, replacing a driver's license, issuing a digital green certificate, scheduling an appointment for PCR testing, obtaining a certificate of no criminal conviction electronically, gaining insight into property tax liabilities, as well as checking their data in the central population register.

eCitizen can access all connected systems based on a unique account eGovernment Portal, LTA, eHealth, My eGradebook, eInvoice, APR and My First Salary
